Conceived by Artistic Director Deborah Mitchell, the Touring Tap Boot Camp is designed to bring master tap teachers to a broad audience. Classes are provided to the public for dancers of all levels and across all income levels with participants ranging from children to senior citizens. Boot camp classes are taught by renowned tap masters and tap dancers, including NJTAP’s Karen Callaway Williams, Maurice Chestnut, DeWitt Fleming, Jr., and Ms. Mitchell, as well as guest artists. This exciting program travels to a different county in New Jersey each year. Watch this space for information about Boot Camp 2008.
